Lindsay Ferrer, Principal, is an experienced early education practitioner. With degrees in developmental psychology and education policy, Lindsay is deeply versed in developmentally appropriate infant, toddler, and pre-kindergarten practices. Lindsay also holds a certificate in Early Intervention, providing expertise in special needs services. Lindsay has served as a research and policy advisor on state and federal early education initiatives. Lindsay formerly taught the "Getting Ready for Preschool" class at the Edlavitch DC JCC. Her primary interests lie in using data and research to improve outcomes for children.

As a classroom observer and evaluator, Lindsay is trained to observe with the following CLASS tools: CLASS Infant, CLASS Toddler, CLASS Pre-K, CLASS K-3, and CLASS Upper Elementary. Lindsay has conducted over 100 classroom observations for a variety of school systems and clients. She has also written and edited hundreds of reports on classroom quality.
